Playtime

As well as a time for exercise and letting off steam, playtime gives you a chance to bond with your feline friend. If your cat does not get enough stimulation it will get bored and cats need exercise, just like people, to prevent them from getting overweight or unfit.

If your cat is an indoor cat, exercise is particularly important, since it can’t get exercise outside while hunting. Play doesn’t just benefit the cat either, owners can get a lot of pleasure out of it too. Pet superstores sell a wide range of toys to keep kitty amused.

Catnip impregnated toys and balls always go down well.

Any games have to be on their terms, as cats, unlike dogs, are very independent animals. Fake mice may also entertain her. Cats love climbing inside things and wrapping themselves up into bundles.

They will often hide in closets or behind things, looking out at you. They love finding nooks and crannies to hide in and peer out from.
